Recently Google launches official route of the 100th edition of the Tour de France in 3D! To help celebrate it, Google has rolled out a few new products to help everyone to take part in the race from home. Your Tour, a tool puts the rider behind the handlebars, letting him pedal through different stages of the tour by scrolling on the computer.
If you join here, you will get a bike, a map of the course and Google+ posts that have been made at the particular marker in an attractive video and you only complete this video in the forward direction.
If you want to join but don't want to go for a virtual ride, Google also has a youtube channel set up for the tour de France and an Android app where you can follow during your ride.
