How to remove BIOS Password without any CD or Software: An old trick newly present

cmos password
Concept:
BIOS is a place where default settings of a computer is placed. Many users use BIOS password to make default setting more secure. Installing of  windows will not be possible without correct password if BIOS Password is active previously. If anyone doesn’t know the password to install his windows, what will be then?
Let’s get a solution:

Step:1

cmos battery
  •   Shut down the pc.
  •  Remove main Power cable from the pc.
  • Open the pc cover and remove the CMOS battery from the battery holder.
  • Wait at least 10 minutes and keep the battery again in it’s original place from where you remove it.
  • Now connect the power cable and start the pc again.
  • We hope your problem is solved. But if unfortunately it does not work then let’s try the second step.
Step:2
jumper
  •   Remove the BIOS/CMOS jumper from the mother board. (N.B.  Jumper probably situated beside the processor or beside the CMOS battery having two or three pin. CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, JCMOS1, CLR, CLRPWD, PASSWD, PASSWORD, PSWD or PWD is written under or beside this jumper. )
  • If Jumper is sited on two pin, take-off it from this place.
  • Wait at least 10 minutes and then start the PC and notice that there is no BIOS Password.
  • Turn off the PC and place the jumper again in the original place.
  • Start Computer now and your work is done.
  • If three pins are used to set up the jumper, you will see that jumper is sited on 1 and 3 number pin. Now remove the jumper from the previous place and replace it on the 2 and 3 number pin.
  • Wait at least 10 minutes and then start the PC and notice that there is no BIOS Password.
  • Turn off the PC and place the jumper again in the original place.
  • Start Computer now and your work is completed.
